Kicker Country Stampede 2016

The Country Stampede Music Festival is an outdoor country music and camping festival held at Tuttle Creek Lake State Park, north of Manhattan, Kansas. The festival has been held annually since 1996, on the last weekend in June.[2]

It is the largest annual music festival in Kansas. Total combined attendance for all days exceeds 170,000 – in 2012 it was approximately 175,000. The record for largest single-day attendance was set on June 23, 2012, when an estimated 55,000 fans watched Toby Keith perform.

The festival began as a two-day weekend event and has expanded to a four-day format, lasting from Thursday through Sunday. Camping is common for attendees, and 2,400 camp sites are available on the grounds. Vendors, and many activities are also present at the festival. A sister festival was held at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky in 2003 and 2004.

The 2015 festival takes place from June 25–28. The lineup features headlining acts Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Travis Tritt, and Thomas Rhett. Other performers include Sara Evans, Jerrod Niemann, Craig Morgan, LOCASH, Love & Theft, Angeleena Presley, Chris Lane, and The Kristina Craig Band. This year's festival is the 20th annual edition of the Country Stampede, and is being billed as the "party two decades in the making". Not surprisingly, ticket demand was at an all-time high, with VIP seating and preferred campsites selling out well in advance of the festival.[3]

Frederick Dierks Bentley[2] (born November 20, 1975[1]), known professionally as Dierks Bentley, is an American country music singer and songwriter who has been signed to Capitol Nashville since 2003. That year, he released his self-titled debut album. Both it and its follow-up, 2005's Modern Day Drifter, are certified platinum in the United States. A third album, 2006's Long Trip Alone, is certified gold. It was followed in mid-2008 by a greatest hits package. His fourth album, Feel That Fire was released in February 2009. A bluegrass studio album, Up on the Ridge, was released on June 8, 2010, and then a sixth album, Home, followed in February 2012, as did a seventh one, Riser, in 2014.

Bentley's studio albums have accounted for eighteen singles on the country singles chart, of which thirteen have reached No. 1: his debut single "What Was I Thinkin'", as well as "Come a Little Closer", "Settle for a Slowdown", "Every Mile a Memory", "Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)", "Feel That Fire", "Sideways", "Am I the Only One", "Home", "5-1-5-0", "I Hold On", "Drunk on a Plane" and "Say You Do". Four more of his singles have reached the top 5.

Bentley's latest release, a new 13 track studio album titled Black was released May 27, 2016.[3]

Samuel Timothy "Tim" McGraw (born May 1, 1967) is an American country singer, songwriter and actor. He has been married to fellow singer Faith Hill since 1996, and is the son of the late baseball player Tug McGraw.

Tim McGraw has released thirteen studio albums (eleven for Curb Records and three for Big Machine Records). 10 of those albums have reached number 1 on the Top Country Albums charts, with his 1994 breakthrough album Not a Moment Too Soon being the top country album of 1994. All of these albums have produced 65 singles, 25 of which have reached number 1 on the Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts. Three of these singles — "It's Your Love", "Just to See You Smile", and "Live Like You Were Dying" — were the top country songs of 1997, 1998, and 2004 according to Billboard Year-End. He has also won three Grammy Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music awards, 11 Country Music Association (CMA) awards, 10 American Music Awards, and three People's Choice Awards. His Soul2Soul II Tour with Faith Hill is the highest grossing tour in country music history, and one of the top 5 among all genres of music.[1]

McGraw has ventured into acting, with supporting roles in The Blind Side (with Sandra Bullock), Friday Night Lights, The Kingdom, Tomorrowland, and Four Christmases (with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon), and lead roles in Flicka (2006) and Country Strong (2010). He was a minority owner of the Arena Football League's Nashville Kats. Taylor Swift's debut single, "Tim McGraw", refers to him and his song "Can't Tell Me Nothin'".[2]

In acknowledgement of his grandfather's Italian heritage, McGraw was honored by the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) in 2004, receiving the NIAF Special Achievement Award in Music during the Foundation's 29th Anniversary Gala.

Joshua Ryan "Jake" Owen (born August 28, 1981) is an American country singer and songwriter. Signed to RCA Nashville in 2006, he released his debut studio album Startin' with Me that year. This album produced three singles, all of which reached top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart: his debut single "Yee Haw", "Startin' with Me", and "Something About a Woman". A second studio album, 2009's Easy Does It, has accounted for three more singles: "Don't Think I Can't Love You", "Eight Second Ride", and "Tell Me". In September 2011, Owen achieved his first number one hit on the country charts with the title track to his third studio album Barefoot Blue Jean Night, as did with "Alone with You", "The One That Got Away", and "Anywhere with You". His fourth studio album, Days of Gold produced two singles with its title track, which broke the top 20 in 2014, and the number one single "Beachin'".

Owen has also toured as an opening act for several other country artists, including Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town, Sugarland, Keith Urban, and Jason Aldean.
